Description:

• Purpose: These instruments are used in urological procedures to gradually widen a narrowed section of the urethra (urethral stricture) or the bladder neck. The goal is to restore normal urine flow or to facilitate the insertion of other instruments like catheters.
• Design: Each dilator in a set is a single, solid metal rod with a long, gentle curve to conform to the male urethra's anatomy. It features a smooth, rounded, bullet-shaped tip to allow for atraumatic insertion. The instruments come in a range of diameters, marked in French Gauge (Fr) sizes, to allow for controlled, incremental dilation.
